Building on the success of Ascend’s inaugural Ascend Aviation 2020 Finance Forum London in 2012, we are delighted to announce the 2nd annual forum will take place on 10th and 11th July 2013.

Ascend Aviation 2020 Finance Forum: London will bring you unparalleled access to air finance experts from banks, lessors, investors, appraisers, airlines, analysts, pension funds and OEMs.

This event has been built to serve as a mid-point review of the year, an opportunity to take stock and to review orders from the Air Show.

Why we are running it:

Europe’s sovereign debt crisis will have long-term repercussions for those involved in air finance worldwide. Major banks in France, Britain, Germany, Spain and Ireland have pledged to sell assets and potentially shed up to €3 trillion of loans.

But production rates require that the finance required for new aircraft deliveries will rise by around 40% over next five years. Innovation is obviously essential to keep aircraft deliveries going – but who is innovating now? And how?
